Once, on a family car trip in 1991, my two older sisters insisted on playing They Might Be Giants' "Birdhouse in Your Soul" 400 times over the course of three days. Though my dad was one repetition away from Hara-Kiri, I developed a love for the goofy duo that persists to this day. This was only strengthened by their partnership with '90s kids show Tiny Tune Adventures, which produced the above video for "Particle Man" and the below clip for "Istanbul (Not Constantinople,) both of which feature Plucky Duck suffering through extraordinary abuses.

Although some would say that listening to TMBG is the biggest abuse of all, I get a big kick out of these. I especially enjoy Plucky's expression as he flees the stadium in "Particle Man." He looks like he saw his parents having sex.
