DC Prop 8 Protest Photos

Rain and wind couldn't deter the thousands of protesters who came out in support of equal rights in DC this afternoon. The above pictures are from my iPhone. Another batch taken by TNG photographer Emanuel will be up soon.

Feel free to send us links to your photo albums, too!

Thank you for sharing your pics Michael. The rally/march/event was an amazing thing to be a part of, even with the dreary weather and rain. Hopefully this is just the beginning.

looks like everything went great. i was stuck in my freaking office as i couldn't find a sub... but knowing the makeup of my office, im guessing that because some folks were marching themselves!

How many people were there? I had to leave before the end, but I did the whole march.

Very cool. I am so bad at estimating and I heard a very low number initially that I thought I was wrong. 5000 is great. The column of people looked amazing walking (in the rain) across the mall.
