TNG Mixtape: Make Your Own Mix Edition

Well, it appears we got a little too esoteric for own good this week. Usually, our weekly mixtape is made up of songs culled from the week's What We're Listening To, but this week none of our selections are on Mixwit. Boo! (It's actually getting a little frustrating. If you know of a better way to do this, shoot me an email.) Anyway, when given lemons you make lemonade, right? So we decided to take some of our favorite artists and songs from the past eight weeks, and make a super-sized 18 track mega-mixtape. If you're like all of us, this election cycle has got you busier than you ever could have imagined, so, hopefully, this mix will restore your will to live through Friday afternoon. We'll do better next week. Promise.

Oh, but I almost forgot the most important bit. We tell you guys what we're listening to every Tuesday, but we want to know about all the great bands and artists you're listening to as well! So, to that end, we'd like to encourage all of you out there to make a Mixwit tape with all your favorite stuff. Then email me the link, and I'll post it for all the world to see... er, hear. Maybe there's a band you think everybody needs to know about or an artist that's not getting enough attention. Maybe you just have fabulous taste in music.
