Join SMYAL and One In Ten for a free screening of Dreams Deferred - The Sakia Gunn Film Project and a Youth-Led Panel Discussion about violence against LGBTQ youth this Saturday, October 18 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Goethe Institut.

Dreams Deferred - The Sakia Gunn Film Project tells the moving story of the tragic murder of a young black lesbian in Newark, NJ, and the community's response to the light sentences given to her killers. Immediately following the film, local youth will lead a panel discussion on the issue of violence against LGBTQ youth in our community.
