robbery and a hate crime combined (i.e., it wasn't just a bashing).

Why "voluntary manslaughter" and not "murder"? Can someone explain this to me?

Job well done? What about the other guys who participated?

I was disturbed by a TV news report that said Hunter had made contact with his attackers first. It sounded like the opening salvo in another round of "blame the victim."
