Your Morning Upper: You're Sitting in a Chair in the Sky!

This post was submitted by TNG co-founder Zack.

Mornings suck. So every morning TNG brings you a fun video to help ease the pain.

Yesterday I had a friend put the current economic situation in perspective for me, saying that it's not ideal but we will probably ride it out within a year. It made me feel better. Then, ten minutes later, I walked by a copy of the Rock Creek Press announcing that we were headed for the next Great Depression. Community newspapers are often so scary on their own that the doomsday headline almost ruined my night. Luckily, this clip of comedian Louis. C.K. on Conan made me feel a little better. I hope we don't all end up as country peddlers but it is good to remember that there are a lot of things we take for granted.

I'm pretty sure that the "Rock Creek Press" (I think the name is actually slightly different) is not a community newspaper. It is a CULT newspaper designed to look like a community newspaper.

I think its a Lyndon Larouche rag - the same same crazy cult candidate whose plan for stopping HIV is to ship all HIV-positive people to quarantine camps. His views on homosexuality aren't much better.

I glanced at the Rock Creek Free Press' website out of curiosity. Of the first 8 articles posted, one was about the dire state of the economy, two claimed that the government orchestrated 9/11, one purported that the OKC bombing was orchestrated by the Clinton administration to get his anti-terrorism bill passed, three said that AIDS isn't real, and one claimed that the FBI and CIA were behind the anthrax outbreaks.

I'm not saying you shouldn't be worried about the economy, but try not to let the RCFP get to you too much ;-)

Louis is right. People are spoiled brats with a HUGE sense of entitlement and I am so tired of putting up with them.
