Weekend Preview: Snow and Football Edition

Happy Almost-Weekend! The big event of this first full week (ugh) following the Inauguration was a snow event (see what I did there?) and The. Big. Game. is looming on the horizon. But there are lots of great things to do in between and below are just a few. So crawl out of your ice cave, strap on some pads (if you’re into that kind of thing) and do the weekend right!

Saturday

• Join TNG for our monthly Homo/Sonic! Your daily hit of Alice Remix crack included! Details: Black Cat Mainstage, Saturday Jan 31, 9:30 PM, $10, All Ages.

Sunday

• Super Bowl Sunday! Not many events planned for the day since everyone will be glued to their TVs, but if you want to watch the big game with other queer guys and gals, local establishments like Phase 1 and Nellie’s will be having specials. And if football’s not your thing, you’re welcome to join me in watching the Puppy Bowl instead (I’m predicting Buster will be the break-out player of the game).
