Recap: January 3rd Homo/Sonic

Thanks to everyone who came out to Homo/Sonic on Saturday night. We were pleasantly surprised with the turn-out, fearing that everyone had exhausted themselves ringing in the new year. People started filling in around 10:30 and started dancing around 11. We were able to keep the bodies moving until they pulled the plug on us, around 2:15 AM.

I was very pleased to see such a diverse selection of the queer community in attendance. I hope everyone had a good time and felt welcomed. I will say that I was disappointed to hear that a handful of men were using the ladies room upstairs. C'mon guys, we're not at Nation here. Be respectful. There are more bathrooms downstairs in the Red Room, too.

And on another positive note, there were two missed connections generated from the party. Good luck finding whomever you missed.
