Women's Holiday Party Benefiting HRC
If you're a woman who likes holidays and/or parties, you may want to check this out Saturday at Town. All proceeds will benefit HRC - that's Human Rights Campaign, not equally-party-worthy Hillary Rodham Clinton. Who, come to think of it, could also really use the money.
SIAMESE2HEARTS will be DJing, and from what I can tell, they are basically a non-misogynistic, more French GirlTalk. I would totally go, if I didn't have to be a boy that night. Oh well.

Yeah, gross. The HRC dominates the scene in this town enough as it is, do we really need HRC parties advertised in our alternative event listing as well?
DC has a dearth of events for women. If this were a men's party, it wouldn't have made it up here.
It's kinda sad that this party ends at 11. I guess they have to shoo all the lezbots away to make room for a full night of drunk/drugged aberzombies from midnight to 5 AM. Ugh.

A dearth? Really?? Only if the only place you look for women's parties is in MW and the Blade.
But alas, if you're not corp/white/male or super "underground alternative" you don't get play on anyone's blog...

I still think DC (and other cities for that matter) has a dearth of events for women (unless a bunch of lesbian establishments have popped up recently that I don't know about), so I appreciate the post. I'd love to hear what I'm missing out on though.
