Here are 6 book club event listings from 5 different area gay or lesbian book clubs. The Literally Lesbians meeting is tonight, so grab your copy and go start the New Year right!

As always, all the clubs listed here welcome new members at any time, and you're under no obligation to go to every meeting in order to be a member.

Big Gay Book Group: Wednesday, January 14th, 7 p.m. Location: Timberlake's Restaurant (1726 Connecticut Avenue NW); please e-mail Robert at biggaybookgroup@hotmail.com if you plan to attend; he needs to give the restaurant an estimate of how many people will be there. Literally Lesbians: Monday, January 5th, 6:30 p.m (discussion of book starts at 7 p.m.). Location: Teaism, Penn Quarter (400 8th St. NW). Book: Mirror Mirror by Gregory Maguire.
