TNG Mixtape

Hey hey, everybody! Once again, it's time for your Wednesday afternoon mixtape! As usual, we've taken the albums and artists mentioned in yesterday's What We're Listening To and whipped up a little mix that will hopefully get you through the end of the week. As usual, I've taken the liberty of adding something extra. Well, honestly, since we were a little short-handed this week, I added a few things. First, "That's Entertainment" by The Jam, because apparently I'm into Britain in the late 70s this week. (Maybe it's the economy? Who knows?) Then I added "Acid Tongue," the title track off of Jenny Lewis' new album, because it's far and away my pick for the best song of 2008. It hurts my heart, you guys. As soon as I finished listening to it for the first time, I immediately listened to it another twenty times. Then I picked up my guitar and figured out the chords. Then I listened to it another twenty times. I suppose I could and should write a post... about my OCD. (But in other news, I totally finagled a ticket to her sold out show tomorrow night! So excited! See you there!)
