New Raveonettes EP and Winter Tour

Last spring, I interviewed Sharin Foo of The Raveonettes in preview of their show at the Black Cat. The show ended up being the best one I've seen this year. Foo also turned out to be the hottest woman on earth. I think some of the bar stools had crushes on her. So it pleases me to announce that the Danish duo will be retuning to the Black Cat on January 17th and that their new EP "Beauty Dies" is currently streaming on AOL.

The above video is for Beauty Dies' "Black/White." The tune was originally commissioned by The Gap's "Sound of Color" campaign. I can't really think of a better band for representing monochrome.

And again: I reccomend checking these guys out when they come back in January. If you like The Velvet Underground, Jesus and Mary Chain or getting your eardrums blown out you won't be disapointed.
