TNG Mixtape

MixwitMixwit make a mixtapeMixwit mixtapes

Afternoon, ladies and germs! Welcome to the Wednesday mixtape! If you're like me, you're currently stuck at work, drowning in a sea of paper and responsibility and it totes sucks, right? Well, here's your life preserver. As usual, this little mix is made up of artists and albums discussed in yesterday's What We're Listening To post and, as always, I went ahead and added a little bonus. This week, I was once again inspired by Zack's piece. His thoughts on Shugo Tokumaru reminded me of my long-dormant affection for J-pop, imported back in the day by a high school friend, who'd spent a summer in Tokyo. So I've added a song called "Metro" by my favorite Japanese band, Advantage Lucy. Think of them sort of as Japan's answer to Ivy. Oh, and if anyone is going to Japan in the near future, let me know. You can't get their CD's anywhere! You can't even illegally download AL, because no one's heard of them over here. And, for the love of God, why can't you buy things in foreign iTunes stores?!

Anyway, enough about me. I'm just gonna sit here and silently freak out. You enjoy the tunes and remember Friday's not that far away! The playlist awaits below the fold...
