Bookmen DC: A Single Man (10/1)
Of the books I talked about in my recent Hidden History reading roundup, Christopher Isherwood’s A Single Man got by far the most attention (both in comments on the blog and e-mails from friends). If anyone has read the book (or decides to read it in the next two days—it’s short and easily digestible), local gay book club Bookmen DC will be discussing A Single Man this Wednesday evening, October 1st, at 7:30 p.m. at the Charles Sumner School (1201 17th St. NW). The Sumner School is a beautiful venue, and there’s sure to be a good discussion. For more information, visit the Bookmen DC website/blog.
