And The Winner Is.....
Looks like we've got a democratic nominee for president. Regardless of your allegiances to other candidates, it's time to circle the wagons and prepare for the fight against the guy who would stack the Supreme Court with justices that can do great harm to our community.
Now, if only I can convince Michael to not vote for the Green Party candidate, and Zack to not vote for the Rockstar Party candidate (even if he is the nominee), I think TNG staff will unify behind Obama.
Gay Republican TNG readers, this is your queue to send us a rebuttal post.
ADDENDUM (12:15pm): I just read Stephanie's post on "Be Gracious." Sorry if this post seems like "rubbing it in," but that's not the intention. Dream Ticket, anyone?

as you can see from stephanie's post, i am no obama fan. but i'm voting for the man. i'm assuming most of the people who read this blog are not considering mccain. so, if anyone can give me any rational reason for voting for anyone other than obama, i'll kiss them. or give them $5 or something.
how about obama is a muslim....
oh yeah, and he hates america.

I was at the Regina Spektor Concent/60th Birthday Party for Israel this weekend. While walking around I noticed a lot of young people with McCain stickers. It seemed strange for Young Israeli-Americans to support a fuckhead like McCain so I did a little research.
Obama's (reasonable) promise to talk to the leaders of Iran has enraged some members of the Israeli-American community. I think it would be refreshing to have a president who doesn't view industrialized Arab Nations as terrorist hot beds. I know Iran has a terrible record when it comes to GLBT people but so does China, Russia, and Israel... but that doesn't mean we shouldn't speak to them. I heard that the president of Iran has lower approval ratings that Bushy so its likely that when Obama is president he won't even be there.
