Harassment Workshop at AU - March 4th

The American University Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Ally Resource Center is hosting a workshop entitled "Handling Harassment: Learning Skills to Handle Dangerous Situations" this Wednesday night.

The workshop is a two hour interactive presentation that covers harassment, what it is, how to de-escalate a potentially violent situation, analyzing the environment in which you are (night/day, public/private, etc..), basic self-defense, coping with emotional trauma, and having an emergency plan; all based around the potential for a biased related incident.
