Just when you thought the controversy was over, those damn gay penguins are mixing things up again.
The Washington Post reported this weekend that Loudoun County, Virginia, recently pulled copies of the gay-penguin book "And Tango Makes Three
How pissed are you? Perhaps we should protest by dressing up in penguin suits and standing in front of Loudoun county elementary schools, hugging and holding hands and/or babies. Or we could just buy copies of this book for any and every pre-pubescent child we know, especially those who live in back-ass-wards Virginia. I know what I'm getting my nephew, who lives in Arlington, for his birthday.

As a follow-up to this, I did indeed get my nephew this book for his birthday last year. I don't know if he's had it read to him yet, but my sister-in-law (nephew's mom) was very excited.
Is it too late to dress up as a Penguin and head out to the hinterlands?
Curious. What are the student's individual rights if her same-sex parents want her to HAVE ACCESS to this book at school?
This sh*t drives me crazy, esp. as someone who has spent the better part of my life teaching music to preschool - 6th grade. It is offensive for families, teachers, and most-importantly the CHILDREN, who are having to suffer this social insanity. I hope this inspires Q families with children to be even MORE out at school (safety/comfort limits), and not allow society's schools to dismiss their FAMILY.
ah, maybe there IS hope for me and Cody Maverick.
