Outwrite Presents: Perry Brass

Tonight at 8 p.m. at Artfully Chocolate (corner of 14th and Q; 1529C 14th St.), the D.C. Center's Outwrite gay and lesbian reading series features Perry Brass. Perry is one of the gadflies of the gay liberation movement; he's been around since the early days, publishing in magazines and newspapers like Motive, Come Out!, and Gay Sunshine. He was also featured in the first modern gay poetry anthology, The Male Muse, and has run his own press, Belhue, for many years. For Outwrite, he will read from his new novel Carnal Sacraments: A Historical Novel of the Future.
