Weekend Art Events

Friend of TNG Steve Frost will be participating in QUART BAG: A Summer Art Community Show at Civilian, which runs from August 8 – August 16. The opening is tomorrow from 7-9 p.m. Civilian Art Projects will be displaying works inspired by the many things you can do with a quart bag, by over 100 area artists. All works of art will be on sale for $100 or less.

Also on tap this weekend? Tonight swing by the Phillips Collection for Artful Evenings (which I swear I'm going to do one of these weeks), the Adams Morgan Art Market on Saturday, and a National Gallery talk on Max Ernst on Sunday.

I'm headed to Maine, where I have plans to visit the Ogunquit Art Museum and the Portland Museum of Art to see George O'Keeffe and the Camera, but what artsy things are you all getting up to?
