Mass Appeal: Saturday at Rock and Roll Hotel

Although August signals the beginning of the end of summer, here's something to look forward to: DC's own AutoRock returns to Rock and Roll Hotel on Saturday with Mass Appeal. The collage/mash-up DJ throws this party on the first Saturday of every month, and he keeps the crowds dancing with his original remixes and mash-ups featuring hip hop, party jams, and electronic beats. Get there early for the $1 Sparks served from 9-11 p.m.--you'll need the extra energy.

For a taste of what you'll hear on Saturday, download AutoRock's Major Key Mix at sciencehead.net/MajorKeyMix.mp3. According to AutoRock, this summer party mix contains "jams of different types--electropop, house, hip hop, blog heat, club, indie, and a classic or two."
