Boys Beware!
I found this video on, of all places, The Onion AV Club. A sickly hilarious (or hilariously sick) public service film from the '50s, "Boys Beware" helped propogate the damaging stereotype that all gay men are balding, murderous pedophiles who are good at basketball. Give this video a look if you have some time to kill and remember: Never hitchhike, because god knows what else you'll end up doing with that thumb.
